Estar+gerundio

¡Hola qué tal!

Hoy te comparto algunos ejemplos del Presente Progresivo o Presente continuo.

Estar+gerundio o presente continuo, lo usamos para hablar de acciones en progreso o bien que están ocurriendo en este momento.

-¿Qué estás haciendo? Estoy estudiando para mi examen. (What are you doing? I’m revising for my test).📚📖🙇‍♀️

We use the Present continuous tense to talk about actions in progress.
In Spanish, you need to replace the infinitive ending by using -ando -endo

caminar- caminando 🚶‍♀️(Walking)
hablar-hablando 🗣(speaking) vivir-viviendo (living)

There are some exceptions (with irregular verbs) caer-cayendo(falling) dormir-durmiendo (sleeping) leer-leyendo (reading) pedir-pidiendo (asking for something)

Ejemplos:

Estoy leyendo un libro📖🤓
María está durmiendo🛏💤

Can you think of any examples?
