¡Hola qué tal!
This is part two of some useful phrases for your upcoming holidays.
We usually say “me hace falta” to request something, when something is missing or needed.
Falta is de verb (faltar) and is used in the the third person of singular in the following examples:
-Falta un tenedor. (There’s a fork missing).
🔹Don’t forget to say “me faltan” when you need more than one thing.
Examples:
-Faltan unas servilletas y una cuchara. (There are some napkins and a tablespoon missing).
Another alternative would be: -Me puede traer unas servilletas y una cuchara por favor?
(Can you bring me some napkins and a tablespoon, please?
The last three examples shows us how to ask for help when an incident happens.
-Necesito ayuda. El coche (auto) se descompuso. (The car is broken).
-Quiero denunciar el robo de…(I want to report the theft of…)
-Pasó en el estacionamiento. (It took place in the car park).
